Fashion: A little bit of this, a little bit of that. I'm inspired by the 60's and 70's. I like to take inexpensive clothing (gotta love Target!!) and personalize it with layers, shoes, and accessories. I'd rather splurge on shoes and bags, anyways! I love leggings and tights, oversized cardigans, oxfords, ankle boots, and floral/boho/vintage dresses. I'm also a sucker for anything with a bow on it! :)
Home: I put a lot of effort and love into the space I live in. I like to decorate in a way that's whimsical, retro-meets-modern, and sometimes shabby chic -- I love Cath Kidston and Laura Ashley bedspreads. A lot of things in my home are from Urban Outfitters and Ikea.
Stuff: I collect dolls, namely Blythe. Blythe was created in 1972 by Kenner and revived by Takara in Japan in recent years. I love vintage dolls (esp. pose dolls and Kamar), fashion dolls, etc. I also collect deer and owl figurines and children's books. I love to read and write. I graduated with a BA in English and I'm a self-proclaimed grammar nazi. If you need something edited, I'm your girl! ;)
On a political note: I'm overcome with joy that Obama's been elected president. Thanks to everyone who voted for helping make November 4, 2008, a historical day for America.
